I’ve enjoyed photographing and observing Green Bee-eater (Merops orientalis) for years, I found them to be very interesting birds, beautiful looking and very approachable, it was so much fun to watch their behavior as well. Bee-eaters are feeding on insects, catching them in air and find a solid base to land on, then hitting the insect with their beaks on the base till it dies and then swallow, they do vomit the indigestible parts of the insects twice or trice a day. ┬áIt was always the best moment for me to freeze is when throwing the dead insect in air and ready to eat, here on of my favorite shots.

Have a nice day
